“Girly” is not one of the first 200 words used to describe Teresa. Rocking a U.S. Coast Guard Masters License, a BS in Environmental Science from University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and an MA in fine arts from Ohio University, Teresa is a sprite force of positivity. Teresa is a writer and educator. In 2008 she moved aboard a small sailboat and sailed solo for several years. She has spoken at TEDx as well as other keynote speaking engagements. She currently is co-producing the feature film, One Simple Question. Team-benBEN CAREY Co-Founder
As a teen there were only two places to find Ben: either banging out rock music on the drums in the garage or peacefully digging for clams in the neighboring sound. He has a degree in Human Ecology, Marine Biology from Connecticut College and a USCG Master’s License. Motivated to ditch a conventional career and create a life he loves to lives, Ben became a successful web and graphic designer and in 2007 he moved aboard his floating office, a 28’ sailboat. He currently divides his time between sail training, filmmaking, ocean advocacy, speaking French, and riding his bike. For more about Ben visit simplequestionmovie.com.
